Rashes and Skin Problems
The providers at SHS commonly diagnose and treat a variety of skin problems including acne, warts, staph infections, scabies, shingles, herpes, eczema, and allergy or contact related rashes.
In some cases a referral to a dermatologist may be necessary.

Skin Care Recommendations for dry / sensitive skin
- Take warm (not hot) showers and baths using a gentle skin cleanser, such as Cetaphil, instead of soap.
- After showering or bathing, apply CeraVe moisturizer. Reapply moisturizer as needed throughout the day and at bedtime.
- Use gentle fragrance free laundry detergent, such as all free and clear
