Testing for Sexuality Transmitted Infections (STIs)

Student Health Services does not charge for examinations; however there are laboratory fees associated with testing for STIs. If you are having symptoms and/or want to learn more about which tests you should get please check STD /STI Symptoms and Info. If you have STI testing at Student Health Services, you will receive a bill from the lab approximately two weeks after your appointment. You may then submit your insurance information and some of the cost may be covered by insurance.

The prices without insurance are as follows:

  • Chlamydia/Gonorrhea (from urine or swab):$99
  • HIV (blood test): $80
  • Syphilis (blood test): $26
  • Herpes Virus Test: $85-$125

If you are interested in having the urine test for Chlamydia and Gonorrhea make sure you do not urinate for 2 hours prior to your appointment.
